In Memoriam: Patricia Labra Rogel June 26, 1943 - October 21, 2023 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Labra Rogel, 80, of Sherwood, Oregon, on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Patricia was born on June 26, 1943, in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, the daughter of Jesús Labra and Leonor Luna. Patricia was a pillar of strength and the heartbeat of her family. She immigrated to the United States in the early 1960s and became a proud citizen shortly thereafter. Patricia was the loving wife of Jesús Rogel, whom she married on December 19, 1965, and who predeceased her on July 12, 2013. Their love and partnership were a cornerstone in the life they built together and in the family they raised. She resided in McMinnville, Oregon for 24 years before moving to Sherwood for 18 years, filling both homes with warmth, love, and delicious aromas from her kitchen. A natural talent in the kitchen, Patricia poured her love into every dish she prepared. Her kitchen was a place of joy and creativity where she delighted in feeding not just the stomachs but also the souls of those who entered. Beyond her culinary skills, she found joy in crossword puzzles, a hobby that not only entertained her but also kept her mind razor-sharp. Her brilliance, however, was best exemplified through the wisdom she imparted and the love she spread. Patricia was a dedicated mother to her four daughters, Nora Losier (Rod), Nancy Timmer (David), Rosie Rogel (Brian), and Jessica Rogel. She worked tirelessly to support her family, and most especially, to make her children's dreams come true. She was the guiding light and very glue that kept her family united. Her legacy lives on in her five cherished grandchildren: Lindsey Hearne (Wade), Katie Losier, and Luke Losier; Audrey and Sofie Timmer, whom she adored more than anything in the world. To know Patricia was to experience a love and friendship that was pure and unconditional. She will be remembered for her resilience, her boundless love, and her remarkable ability to make life sweeter for everyone around her. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to honor Patricia's memory.
