Francesco "Frank" Marsico

Frank Marsico, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. Born on July 31, 1943, in Miglierina, Italy, Frank was the son of Giuseppe Marsico and Gennarina Torchia. He was predeceased by his brothers, Antonio Marsico and Gennaro Marsico and nephew, Anthony Marsico. He is survived by his brother, Lucio Marsico and his wife Bernadette of Vancouver, British Columbia and sister-in-law, Teresina Marsico of Winnipeg, Canada. Frank is also survived by brother-in-law, Thomas Torchia and his wife Nancy of Melbourne, Florida and nieces Stephanie Hunt, Gennarina Jowett and Anne Marr Ramsay. In 1963, Frank immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada, with his family in search of new opportunities and a brighter future. Three years later, in 1966, he moved to Long Branch, New Jersey, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and community. In 1967, Frank married the love of his life, Rae. Together they shared a loving marriage and built a family that became the center of his world. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rae; his sons, Joseph Marsico and his wife Robyn Seals, and Anthony Marsico and his husband Jay Fiorenza; and his cherished granddaughters, Mary and Mia. Frank dedicated 43 years of service as the Building Manager of Temple Beth Miriam, where he became a trusted and respected member of the community. Alongside Rae, he was also the proud co-owner of Tom and Rae’s Korner Kitchen, a beloved local gathering place. Of all his accomplishments, Frank was most proud of his two sons and granddaughters. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family. He especially treasured Sunday dinners filled with laughter, stories, and togetherness. Frank found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He loved working in his garden, traveling, playing bocce, enjoying canasta and traditional Italian card games, and gathering with family and friends. His warmth, generosity, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will be remembered by all who knew him. Frank’s legacy lives on through his family, whose lives were enriched by his love, guidance, and example. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
