Sandra Lee Keyser

March 1, 1938 - February 15, 2018

Sandy was born in Minatare, Nebraska during the depression. Shortly after the death of her oldest brother John Joseph Wright Jr., the family moved to Portland, Oregon to work in the ship yards during World War II. Sandy grew up in Portland attending Jefferson High School. Shortly after graduation she met the love of her life, Harold Keyser. They were married July 27th, 1957 at Central Lutheran Church in Portland. After raising and putting three children through college, she attended George Fox College, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1988. She was a devoted great-grandmother, grandmother and mom. She loved life to the fullest, had a smile and laugher that was contagious. She was the life of the party, a hoarder of hugs, and a teacher of loving. Her passing leaves a large hole in our hearts. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents John Joseph and Dorothy Kendall Wright; her brother, John Joseph Wright Jr., and husband Harold Dale Keyser. Sandy leaves behind her younger brother, Michael Allen and Barbara Wright; her children, Diana Lee Keyser, Brian Allen and Beth Louise Keyser, Lori Wynne and Bradley Jayson Keyser-Boswell; her grandchildren, Peter Allen and Amy Marie Keyser, Andrew Zachary and Rachel Elizabeth Keyser, Eduard Lee Keyser, Colter Jacob Keyser Boswell, Ryder Joseph Keyser Boswell, Paige Jean Clifford and Quinn James Clifford; and her great-grandchildren Malachi Segni Allen Keyser, Elias Glen Keyser, Sabrina Fair Keyser, Lillybelle Rose Keyser, and Matilda Rose Keyser. When she wasn’t loving on her family, she was selling on Etsy, playing bingo or Pinochle, learning and researching history and genealogy, and watching the Mariners. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 190 SW 3rd Ave. Canby, OR 97013.
