In Loving Memory Ruth Mae Larson Ruth Mae Larson was born the daughter of Harry G. and Agnes S. (Lettie) Finn on Monday, April 19, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio. Ruth grew up in Chicago where she attended elementary school. She went to junior high in California, and graduated from high school in Chicago. Ruth lived in Chicago and California. Settling in California, she met and married William H. Larson in Pasadena on August 13th, 1955. They made their home in California, and later moved to Newberg. She worked as a Credit Manager for Automated Offices systems until her retirement in 1989. Ruth enjoyed sewing, reading, bowling and dancing. On Monday, September 30, 2013, Ruth Mae Larson died at her home when she was ninety-three years, five months and eleven days of age. Surviving and left to honor her life are: Her husband William H. Larson of Newberg; two sisters, Betty Jane Wells of Redland, CA, and Agnes Lillian Treadwell of California; four grandchildren, Kimberly Cantwell, John, Stephen, and Matthew McKennis; eight great-grandchildren, Kacie Marie and Logan Christopher Cantwell, Aaron Gilbert, Skylar Michelle, Bridgette Christine, Joshua William, Isabelle Haley and Jaxson James McKennis and those who have come to know and appreciate her where she has lived and worked. Private Committal was held at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. Arrangements are in the care of Attrell’s Newberg Funeral Chapel, a Golden Rule Funeral Home.
