Philip Lawrence eddy died at age 99 on July 31, 2016 in Carlton, Oregon. He died peacefully in his sleep at the home of his daughter Madaline Cate and her husband Robert. Philip was born on March 29th, 1917 in Monkton, Vermont, where he spent his early years. As an adult he migrated to California where he worked at McDonnell Douglas. When he retired the family moved to Oregon, where he lived for the rest of his life. He is survived by two brothers, three sisters, six children, twenty grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Madeline. We will honor the life of Philip Eddy, beloved husband, loving father, grandfather, loyal son and brother on August 5, 2016 at Attrell’s Newberg Funeral Chapel. He will be laid to rest beside Madeline at Valley View Memorial Park, Newberg.
