Opal Ivon Miller
October 12, 1932 - February 6, 2018
Ivon was born October 12th, 1932 in Custer, Oklahoma to Chester and Opal Long. She passed away February 6th, 2018 at Providence Newberg Hospital at the age of 85. Ivon resided in the Newberg/Dundee area since 1933 when the family moved to Oregon. She and Neil Miller married December 28th, 1959 and were the proud parents of Dennis, Pam, Valerie and Todd Miller. Ivon retired age of 80 after working 50 years first with Butler Chevrolet then John Gotter Chevrolet and finally Loren Berg Chevrolet. She spent over 30 years doing civic work serving on the Dundee city council, Dundee community commitee, Parkway committee and other organizations. Ivon is survived by her sons Todd (Helen) of Newberg Oregon, Dennis (Pam) of Enid Oklahoma and daughter Pam (Fred) Baker of Montana; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Opal Long; Husband Neil and daughter Valerie. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 17th at 1:00 PM at Attrell's Funeral Chapel in Newberg.
