In Loving Memory Loyd Vincent Stone Loyd, a lifetime resident of Newberg, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, January 15, when he was 94 years and 6 months of age. Surviving and left to honor his life are: son Terry Stone (m. Elaine) of Portland, OR; daughter Linda (m. John Cantrell) of Kingman, AZ and granddaughter and longtime caregiver Charlene, married to Richard Lefebvre who assisted, two great-granddaughters, Kristina and Brittney Pinard, and one great-great-granddaughter, Ali (all of Newberg, OR). Loyd was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Edith “Freddie” Stone, his son David Stone and six siblings. Loyd owned Stone’s Refrigeration and later became a partner of Krohn’s Appliance Center in Newberg until retiring in March 1980. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newberg Seventh-day Adventist Church, 530 Edgewood Drive, Newberg. Pastor David Ballard will officiate.
