Lois Marilynn Boleen

November 3, 1930 - February 19, 2022

Lois M. Boleen, age 91, passed away peacefully February 19, 2022. She was born November 3, 1930, to her loving parents Dolly and Earl Reiser longtime residents of Sherwood. Lois graduated from Sherwood Union High School in 1948, and soon started her career as a bookkeeper. She worked at Grandma’s Cookies the Sherwood Tannery, and many years as bookkeeper at the Portland Canning Co. in Sherwood. Along the way, Lois married her loving husband, Allen. They shared many special memories; especially enjoying the Oregon coast. Their most special day was the day they welcomed their daughter, Linda. Linda soon became the center of their world. Sadly, Allen passed away way too soon. Lois was very active in the Rebeka’s where she and Linda would enjoy coffee and doughnuts on Saturday mornings. She was a member of the United Methodist Church where she and Linda sang in the choir. Lois loved music, playing the piano, shopping, movies, and restaurant dining. Lois was currently residing at the Springs Wilsonville where she received wonderful care. Her niece Pam Keys was a constant comfort by visiting her and supplying all her needs. Lois is survived by her daughter Linda, her sister in-law Jenny Reiser, many nieces and nephews and cousins. A graveside service was held February 28th at Mountainside Cemetery in Scholls.
