John Samuel Hoffman

In Memory of John Samuel Hoffman John Samuel Hoffman was born the son of Albert Charles and Margaret Lucy (Drain) Hoffman on Wednesday, November 3, 1937 in Portland, Oregon. John was a jet mechanic in the United States Air Force and he attended Multnomah Bible College in Portland. On Thursday, March 25, 2010, John Samuel Hoffman died at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center when he was seventy-two years, four months and twenty-two days of age. Surviving and left to honor his life are: his daughter, Julie A. Kubat of Wildew, Idaho; two sisters, Evelyn M. Netrick of Oregon City and Mary Ann Schlegelmilch of Beaverton; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and those who have come to know and appreciate him where he has lived and worked. His brother, Albert C. Hoffman, Jr. preceded him in death. His funeral was held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in Attrell’s Newberg Funeral Chapel, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, with Pastor Joel Boyce officiating. A private committal was held at Valley View Memorial Park in Newberg.
