In Loving Memory of Alice Fay Gideon Alice Fay Gideon was born the daughter of Edgar and Flora (Allen) Watson on Thursday, September 20, 1923 in Twin Falls, Idaho. Alice grew up in Twin Falls and began her school years. The family moved several times, and she went to high school in Sacramento, California. Alice was married to Don Allen and they moved to Oregon and made their home on Parrett Mountain. Don preceded her in death in March 1962, and she married Lee “Frank” Franklin Gideon in Reno, Nevada on March 30, 1974. Lee preceded her in death April 30, 1996. Alice worked in a cannery, at Frontier Leather, and at Tektronix until she retired. She enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, gardening, league bowling, and being with her family. On Saturday, August 31, 2013, Alice Fay Gideon died at her residence when she was eighty-nine years, eleven months and eleven days of age. Surviving and left to honor her life are: two sons, Earl Allen of La Pine, and Cary Gideon of Sherwood; three daughters, Jeanne Allen of Sherwood, Christine Stemler of Sherwood, and Cindy Fowler of Pendleton; twelve grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; and those who have come to know and appreciate her where she has lived and worked. Her parents and five brothers preceded her in death. Her Graveside Service will be Saturday, September 7th, 2:00 p.m. at Crescent Grove Cemetery in Tigard, Oregon, with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Chapel Viewing and Visitation hours are Friday, September 6th from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Saturday, September 7th from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Attrell's Sherwood Funeral Chapel, a Golden Rule Funeral Home.
