Silvia Escobebo-Jimenez

In loving memory of Silvia Jimenez Escobedo, our cherished mom passed away peacefully at the age 72 on March 28th, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in La Estacion Colima, Mexico, on November 27th, 1951, was the eldest of 7 children, with her spouse Jorge Jimenez Naranjo of over of 49 years. Mother to 6 of her own children, Enrique, Irene, Laura, Miguel, Juan and Adriana. She had 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Silvia was the epitome of selflessness, always putting others before herself with a heart full of love. Her laughter brought us all so much joy. She had a way of making everyone feel at ease with her warmth and kindness, Silvia was not only funny, but she was also incredibly wise and understanding, offering guidance and wisdom to many, not just her family. Despite all the challenges life threw at her she remained resilient and strong. Her loyalty to her family and loved ones had no bounds, and she was always there to offer support and love to whomever needed it. She was an avid reader and was often found with a book in hand, sometimes even while cooking. Which leads me to the next memory we will all have of never leaving her house hungry. She was an incredible cook, even the simplest meals were the best, because they were made with love. Silvia cherished her family dearly, both here and in Mexico. Made it a priority to stay in touch, always keeping the bonds of family strong near and far. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and strength that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. In memory of Silvia, the family invites friends and loved ones to join a mass at St Peters Catholic Church 2315 N Main St. Newberg OR. That will be held in her honor on April 19th, 2024, at 11am with a gathering after the mass. And a celebration of Life on June 2nd. En memoria amorosa de Silvia Escobedo, nuestra querida madre, quien falleció pacíficamente el 28 de marzo de 2024, en su hogar rodeada de su familia. Nacida en La Estación Colima México. Ere la mayor de 7, con su pareja de más de 49 años Jorge Jimenez Naranjo Madre de 6 hijos, Enrique, Irene, Laura, Miguel, Juan y Adriana. Abuela de 14 y bisabuela de una. Silvia fue el epítome de la abnegación, siempre poniendo a los demás antes que a ella misma con un corazón lleno de amor. Su risa nos llenaba a todos de alegría. Tenía una manera de hacer que todos se sintieran cómodos con su calidez y amabilidad. Silvia no solo era divertida, sino que también era increíblemente sabia y comprensiva, ofreciendo orientación y sabiduría a muchos, no solo a su familia. A pesar de todos los desafíos que la vida le presentaba, permanecía resiliente y fuerte. Su lealtad a su familia y seres queridos no tenía límites, y siempre estaba allí para ofrecer apoyo y amor a quien lo necesitara. Era una ávida lectora y seguido la podías encontrar con un libro en la mano, a veces incluso mientras cocinaba. Lo cual nos lleva al siguiente recuerdo que todos tendremos: nunca dejar su casa con hambre. Era una cocinera increíble, incluso las comidas más simples eran las mejores porque estaban hechas con amor. Silvia valoraba mucho a su familia, tanto aquí como en México. Hizo una prioridad mantenerse en contacto, siempre manteniendo la conexión familiar fuerte, cerca y lejos. Silvia deja amor, risas y fuerza que será recibido por siempre por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Se le extrañará profundamente pero nunca será olvidada. En honor a la memoria de Silvia, la familia invita a amigos y seres queridos a unirse a una misa en la Iglesia Católica de San Pedro, 2315 N Main St. Newberg OR. Que se llevará a cabo en su honor el 19 de abril de 2024 a las 11 am con una reunión después de la misa. Y una celebración de la vida el 2 de junio.
