Robert Dean Streeter

Robert Dean Streeter passed away on March 10, 2017 in Beaverton Oregon. He was born in Tillamook, Oregon on September 22, 1926. Bob lived in the Spokane Valley, WA for thirty years and had a family with Jo Shelton of Coeur d’Alene, ID. He is survived by their three daughters. Katie Streeter — daughter Elizabeth. Becky McFarland — son Ian -wife Andrea and their children Isaac and Aliza, daughter Margaret. MaryJo Olson— son Christopher-wife Lacey and their new baby Olivia. Bob worked at many jobs during his life in Spokane. He was a milk man for Early Dawn Dairy, worked in a Body Shop painting cars and for ScafCo Grain Bins. Bob and Jo enjoyed many years at Lake Pend Oreille at their floathouse in Bayview, ID. He was a life long fisherman, Bob also loved being on the water and his boats. Bob relocated to the Portland, OR area after Jo’s death in 1990. He reconnected with family there and with Dorothy Hall, a friend from college. They were married in 1993, gaining a loved second family. Dorothy’s daughter Karen Hall Miller- husband George and their daughters Katie and Sophie, and Dorothy’s son —Larry Hall. Bob was proceeded in death by Dorothy’s son, Dan Hall and his son Michael Hall. Dorothy and Bob spent many years traveling in their trailer to warm places “ South” to spend the winters. They bought a home in Desert Hot Springs, CA after many adventures and spent several years dividing their time between Beaverton and their winter retreat. We lost Dorothy in 2003. Bob remained in the Portland area and continued to be active in the Church —Cedar Hills Bible Church. He began to spend time with another member of the congregation — Betty Bordeaux. They courted and married in 2006. The couple traveled with their Church to Israel and the Holy Lands in the spring of that year. Bob and Betty continued traveling and took a cruise in Hawaii. Also trips to Mexico to warm up during cold and rainy winters in Beaverton. Bob was happy again to acquire another family— daughter Suzanne and Robert and her daughter Jennifer, son Daniel Corbett and his wife Shenny, their children Sebastian and Whitney . Bob also proceeded in death by Suzanne’s son Michael. The Cedar Hills Bible Church will be the site for a Celebration of Bob’s life on June 1st at 2:00pm. Remembrances for Bob may be made to Providence St. Vincent’s Hospice or to the Cedar Mills Bible Church Mission Fund.
