Beverly Jean Hall

Beverly Jean (Herrold) Hall was born May 18, 1955, In Hillsboro to John and Virginia Herrold. She passed away on Thursday June 1st surrounded by her family, after finding out she had cancer just six days after her 68th birthday. She graduated from Gaston High School in 1973 where she was a member of the Future business leaders of America club and the honor society club. She continued on to college where she got her degree in Business, along with her CPA license and became a licensed tax consultant. She was also an involved member of the Winona Grange, along with her family in her early life. Bev met her Husband (of 41 years), William Hall through a family friend which they started a long distance relationship, mostly through correspondence while he was away in the Navy. They married, September 19, 1981 and within the next few years they moved from their little home in Cornelius to the farm that they would raise their three children on. This is where Bev would spend her remaining years happily surrounded by her family and friends living her life in god’s glory. Bev lived a humble life, she enjoyed helping out in any capacity that she could. If she was unable to help in a physical capacity she was always there on an emotional one. Cheering you on from the side lines, lending moral support, or if all you needed was a shoulder to cry on, she was your person. She was a firm believer that Love was the best way to live your life. Which she accomplished, she had a lot of great loves though out her life, early in her life she loved square dancing but that was of course before the chaos of children. She loved her flowers, every year she would dig those things up, store them for the winter, and then replant them in the spring. Not only did she love those things she was dedicated to them too. Another Love was crafting, weather it was crocheting, quilting and even the occasional knitting. She was always creating something for some one. Ever year around Christmas time she would crochet little angle ornaments for all the little girls at church. She loved camping whether it’s with her family or her church family, she loved nature, unaltered, just the way god made it, nature. I would say her greatest love though would be a tossup between her children, grandchildren and God. It seemed like she was always happiest when surrounded by their company. You could always find her in good spirits no matter what she was doing. She always had a smile on her face, or a giggle in her eye, and the votes are in, she always gave the best hugs! She is survived by her sister Helen, Brothers Bill, and George. Her husband William, Son Daniel, and daughters Stephanie, and Tracy, As well as 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
